Petr Jasinčuk
Brumlista

The jaw harp has been part of my life for many years. It is an instrument I use to bring people quickly into rhythm, breath and the present moment — at a concert, in a workshop or during a quiet session.

Your guide to the world of the jaw harp

From the stage to your first lesson.

I am Petr Jasinčuk. I perform, teach and connect people through the jaw harp. I founded the Czech jaw harp community and the brumle.cz portal. I bring my concert experience into lessons in which every step has a clear purpose.

I know what it is like to search for your first clean sound and for your own musical voice. I will help you understand what you are doing as you play — and know what to try next.

A Czech perspective. An international community.

IJHS regional council member for the Czech Republic

Since 2020, I have served on the council of the International Jew’s Harp Society, an international society that connects jaw harp players, makers and researchers through gatherings and the exchange of knowledge about the instrument.

05 / What this means for you

You do not need to know how to play.
You only need to want to begin.

Stage experience matters when I can pass it on clearly. In lessons, we start with what you need right now.

01

Clear foundations

Choosing and holding the instrument, producing a clean sound, breathing and your first rhythm: a demonstration, your own attempt and the next step.

02

Attention to your playing

In a private lesson, we focus on your specific questions, sound and habits. Beginners and advanced players need different things.

03

Your own musical voice

Technique is not an end in itself. It helps you create rhythm, shape tone and find music that feels like your own.

Not sure where to begin? Tell me what attracts you to the jaw harp and what you can already do. Together, we will choose the right place to start.
