Nigunatica project

Nigun — a wordless melody travelling through time and space, warming the heart and inviting the body to dance.

Who we are

Nigunatica – Gabra Bultasová

Gabra Bultasová

Voice and tapan drum

A singer, drummer, mother of two and facilitator of women’s circles. Based in Pilsen, she also works in youth education and explores themes of family heritage.

Nigunatica – Petr Jasinčuk, Brumlista

Brumlista (Petr Jasinčuk)

Jaw harp and voice

A jaw harp player, singer and father with silver threads in his hair. Based in Tábor, he works with music, ICT and Dynamic Coherence, bringing jaw harp, voice and life experience to the project.

What is Nigunatica?

Nigunatica brings together nigun melodies, folk songs and contemporary rhythms. We use repetition, voice and pulse to create music that naturally invites both attentive listening and movement.

We perform Balkan, Bulgarian, Romanian and Romani songs in a distinctive combination of jaw harp, tapan drum and voice.
