How we process and protect your personal data

This page describes the English course, account and payment journey as well as the other services available on Brumlista.cz.

1. Data controller

The controller is Petr Jasinčuk, Company ID (IČO) 71477241, Na dolíkách 505, 274 01 Slaný, Czech Republic. Privacy contact: info@brumlista.cz.

2. Data we process

  • Contact requests: name, email address, message, IP address and submission time.
  • Accounts and online courses: email address, profile details you provide, authentication records, selected plan, access period, course progress, language version (CZ/EN), and essential security logs.
  • Orders and payments: order identifier, purchased product or course, price, discount, payment method and payment status. Card details are entered with the payment provider and are not stored by Brumlista.cz.
  • Events: registration and contact details needed to reserve and administer your place.
  • Voice-measurement tools: user identifier, measured frequencies and frames, timestamps, optional notes, IP address and browser information. Audio is analysed in the browser and is not intentionally stored by the service.
  • Website use: technical logs and, only where consent is required and granted, analytics or marketing identifiers.

3. Why and on what legal basis

  • To process orders, payments, registrations and provide course access: performance of a contract and steps requested before entering a contract.
  • To maintain accounting and transaction records: compliance with legal obligations.
  • To protect accounts, prevent abuse and diagnose technical incidents: legitimate interests in service and information security.
  • To answer general enquiries: your request and the controller’s legitimate interest in communication.
  • To send optional newsletters or use non-essential cookies: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

4. Recipients and service providers

Data is shared only where necessary with providers that operate website hosting, email delivery, accounting, consent-based analytics and payment processing. Secure card and Apple Pay payments for online courses may be processed by Stripe, and PayPal payments by PayPal; bank transfers are processed by the relevant banks. Providers receive only the data needed for their role and are subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

5. Retention

Contact correspondence is normally kept for up to two years. Technical logs are normally kept for up to 30 days. Consent-based analytics data may be kept for up to 26 months. Newsletter data is kept until consent is withdrawn. Order, payment and accounting records are kept for the periods required by law. Account, course-access and progress data is kept while needed to provide the service, handle claims and protect legitimate legal interests, then deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies support sessions, account sign-in, security, language choice and checkout and do not require marketing consent. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are used only according to your cookie choice. You can change that choice through the cookie settings on the website and can also manage cookies in your browser.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests to info@brumlista.cz. We may ask for reasonable identity verification before releasing or changing account data.

You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz, or with the competent supervisory authority in your country.

8. Security and automated decisions

We use access controls, encrypted connections and operational safeguards appropriate to the service. No decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is made solely by automated processing.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page.

English version updated: 6 September 2026.
