Meet the Jaw Harp Player
The jaw harp is fascinating not only for its sound, but also for its history.
I enjoy sharing my many years of experience with the jaw harp. In workshops I help people learn to play, while talks introduce a wider audience to the instrument’s history, diversity and cultural context.
For schools, I offer an illustrated talk followed by a discussion. The programme connects the story of the jaw harp with motivation to learn, planning, prevention of risky behaviour, and the topics of bullying and cyberbullying. It includes a live performance and time for students’ questions.
A room with a projector and screen is recommended.
